China Day 20

I’ve finally hit the point where I have waited too long to write down what I thought about this day, because some things are already a bit foggy.  That’s how it goes, I guess.
We landed in the city in mid afternoon, and had a bit of downtime before the gig.  We stayed at a ‘beach resort hotel’, even though the pacific ocean is very rocky.  I went down by myself to the pier near the hotel to get a good walk in and clear my head, and got some amazing pictures of the pacific and the coastline.  Ran into some people on the tour, and walked back with them to prep for the gig.
I remember the venue being nice, and it was Adams drums, so a great way to end the tour!  I would have been really upset if I had ended the tour on crappy drums.
We had a dinner that night that was a large celebration of the end of the tour.  We gave Mr. Goo and Mr. Liam (sp??), the guys that have basically been our roadies the whole tour and helped us out immensely on and off the stage, their gifts, and it was great conversation amongst newly made friends.  Later on in the evening we hung out in various hotel rooms keeping the spirit of things going.
