China day 10

Yesterday was a fairly packed and kinda rushed day.  Our flight was a little late taking off, and then traffic was fairly bad, so we didn’t even get to the hotel until 440 and had about ten minutes to get everything together.  We didn’t get to the venue until 6 or so, so not much time to sound check.  Luckily for me the timpani were exactly the same as the night before, and in good condition, so no surprises there.  The outside of the venue was actually in the shape of a circle, which was very cool.  I got some limited pictures but I think they turned out well.
The concert went great, we keep getting tighter and tighter. Ten shows left, so by the end of this, this should be a pretty tight production!  We had dinner at, ironically, a separate hotel from the one we stayed at, and it was actually slightly westernized, which was a little welcome.  Off to bed early, and our first early call of the trip this morning.  On a bullet train headed to Nanjing.  Never been on one before, the station was pretty hectic, but the train ride is actually fairly comfortable.
